Chengdu is a sub-provincial city that serves as the capital of the Chinese province of Sichuan. It is one of the three most populous cities in Western China and is reputed as the “Land of Abundance” with abundant water resources, fertile soil, and biological resources.
The modernization of Chengdu is undoubted because of the critical role that Chengdu plays in terms of education and culture in China. Moreover, as one of the most important printing centers in the country, Chengdu has a long history as a destination for learned poets and artists to gather and seek inspiration.
This project aims to create a neighborhood center of the future and reposition the marketing center to create a series of scenes intensive and more sustainable operation of a sales center. It is committed to presenting the community scene and atmosphere of future life to customers in advance and providing a perceptible pluralistic social life. It will become a harbor with a strong sense of belonging and a portal to the textured life circle.
From “de-salable thinking” to “lifestyle operation,” it combines the double meanings of “one-stop scene living experience” and “future ideal living experience” to connect the present and future real-life perception.
Designers extracted theme elements from People’s daily health, entertainment, culture, and art life to build a bazaar to extend the radius of home life. The physical space is used to establish the target contact point for the brand to communicate with users and create the unique IP symbol for the project brand.
The overal design played with color and stimulates the relaxing and fun vibe. The bold creation of the diverse color space, where the virtual and the real are generated and dismantled, drawing inspiration from the city to re-frame the scene and produce a magical gradient of light and shadow. Urban wanderings are interspersed in the space, creating art in life and customizing a youthful slice of the scene.
The youthful use of highly pure colors combined with the embellishment of art installations is bold and flexible without being overbearing, not only following the modern style of the home but also as a showcase of individuality. Hence, the space reflects a more diverse culture, aesthetics, and values, interpreting youth and infecting life to create a splendid zone where dreams and life spark.
